Literacy

My oldest son loves to read, so the central part of our learning involves books.  I love the Before Five In A Row method used by Intentional By Grace, which involves reading the same book for five consecutive days and doing learning activities that go along with the book each day.  I only homeschool with my sons three days a week, so I’ve modified ours into a Three In A Row.  We are currently beginning the Bob Books to help Daniel understand letter-sound correlation, but I will be mixing in other books to keep things interesting.  While with some books we will be focusing on more traditional literacy activities, I will be trying to use Three In A Row to incorporate math, science, and art into our reading time.
